International Anti-Authoritarian Gathering
St-Imier, July 19-23, 2023
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first anti-authoritarian international, we're organizing meetings in the Swiss Jura mountains from July 19 to 23, 2023. These meetings aim to bring anarchists together for collective reflection, sharing experiences, and building solidarity across struggles and borders.
Our aim is to provide a space for anarchists to come together, share experiences, discuss strategies, and connect with like-minded individuals and groups. The goal is to focus on living struggles, rather than commemorating historical events. We will explore diverse anti-authoritarian topics, such as feminism, environmentalism, anti-capitalism, and more, united by our shared vision.
The gatherings will be participant-driven, with activities organized in a horizontal and decentralized manner. You can propose and edit activities using the online tool at organize.anarchy2023.org. In addition to workshops and debates, there will be film screenings, a book fair, concerts, anarchist radio, childcare, and separate camping areas for women, transgender, and non-binary individuals.
Join us in celebrating anarchy and building a strong, united movement!
